About the Role
- Permanent senior opportunity in Customer Solutions
- Responsible for defining, shaping & delivering transition strategy and delivery.

Reporting to Manager, Transformation and Best Practice, the purpose of this role is to lead a team that will be responsible for managing the transition of services, systems, processes within Customer Solutions, working closely with key external and internal stakeholders whilst ensuring there is no disruption to business operations.

The Transition Manager will ensure all obligations relating to transition are achieved within the agreed scope, financial parameters, as well as timeframes.

What you’ll be doing (Main key responsibilities)
- Create transition plans using the 5-D principles with clearly identifiable key milestones and success measures.
- Prepare toll gate check-lists, tool kits and methods whilst closely collaborating with senior leadership team and the vendors.
- Assess the ongoing changing environment and its impact on the overall transition plan and pivot rapidly with mitigating actions where required to meet the objectives of the plan.
- Provide regular program reporting/briefings on adherence to schedule, budget, scope, quality, risks, issues, dependencies, and benefits.
- Ensure that all stakeholders and AGL Leads are kept informed of the programme status through planned communication sessions.
- Provide expertise and guidance on clearly documented acceptance plans for when workloads/services move from a transition phase into BAU.
- Establish and develop a high performing/engaging culture within the team through regular coaching feedback loops.
- Be a single point of contact for any issues and risks that require cross team collaboration or escalation to the senior leadership.
- Ensure that issue and change management processes address the goals and objectives of all transition plans.

About You

What you’ll bring to the table:

- Degree qualified, post graduate qualified or appropriate business qualifications
- Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence and negotiate outcomes
- A continuous improvement mindset and flexible in adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
- Agile & Lean Methodology exposure would be an advantage
- Six-Sigma and Project Management skills will be an advantage
- Qualifications &/or experience in people centered implementation (PCI) change management methodology
- Effective project management skills, with ability to coordinate delivery across concurrent small initiatives, managing and balancing the needs of each to realize full benefits for the business.
- A good understanding of contact centre processes for both Energy and Telecommunications as well as the ability of navigate the various underlying systems.
- Experience working with Jira or Confluence, Microsoft Suite of Products
- Experience in querying, report building and modelling SQL databases including knowledge of Business Objects, SAP Business Warehouse and related processes.
