**Your New Role**
The Tender & Transitions Manager (T&TM) is responsible for growing the Fund's membership by maximising the number of members joining AustralianSuper through proactive management of B2B tender and onboarding opportunities. Reporting to the Manager - Business Development, the T&TM will manage the tender process, including the preparation of tender documents, coordination with the bid team, and liaison with clients and vendors.
The T&TM will oversee and manage the entire new business onboarding process and key transition activities between AustralianSuper and business partners, where AustralianSuper has been named as the default superannuation fund provider. The role will ensure that all key aspects of a transition are implemented and will work with partners post-transition for a 12-month period to implement engagement strategies to increase member density.

In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and unlock greater value across our business. Your ability to and implement smarter, more agile ways of working will ensure we not only maximise these opportunities
**What You’ll Need**
- Manage the entire tender process including the preparation of tender documents, coordination with the bid team, and liaison with clients and vendors.
- Coordinate the process to facilitate the Fund's decision to bid for new business opportunities, ensuring the delivery of a profitable solution and commitment to businesses.
- Manage and prepare the proposal process to prospective businesses and tender managers, including pitches.
- identify areas for continuous improvement in determining markets, sectors, competitor targeting, and opportunities where the Fund's offer is suitable and competitive.
- Establish and maintain positive, beneficial, and constructive relationships with key business contacts.
- Assist the Business Development team to identify, qualify, and develop a suitable transition plan for new businesses.
- Present the transition and engagement strategy to new businesses
- Attend education transition sessions and provide factual information in relation to the transition.
- Attend meetings with clients to present proposals and the Fund’s business offer in key internal forums where required.Ensure product and industry knowledge is kept up to date by attending required seminars and training programs and reading relevant journals, publications, and briefings on superannuation and general market and economic issues.
