The incumbent is required to teach classes that accommodate mixed abilities, promote the objectives of pastoral care at St Michael’s, and commit to co-curricular activities during the School year according to the co-curricular responsibilities structure.

This role is for **Term 4 only with 0.6 load**

**The successful applicant must**:

- be a qualified teacher and be able to demonstrate a suitable tertiary qualification in teaching and their methods
- have experience teaching Design & Technology across Years 7-10
- be proficient in CAD using programs such as Fusion 360, Solidworks or Creo
- have experience in CAM such as 3D printing and laser cutting
- be willing to be involved in all aspects of the School’s program
- possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and interact with both adults and students
- have high level communication skills
- be able to work independently but also as part of a dynamic, creative and collaborative team
- hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
- hold an Anaphylaxis Certificate and a current National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months)
