About the Role
The Details
- This is a Casual role with varying shifts across 7 days (early and late shifts)
- Based at our vibrant Village of Friends in Scarborough
- Supportive team culture, meaningful work, and opportunities for growth

What You’ll Do
- Respond promptly to emergency call activations from residents
- Provide first aid and basic medical assistance as required
- Support residents in maintaining independence and safety
- Deliver compassionate, hands-on assistance
- Maintain accurate incident and handover documentation
- Work collaboratively with the Emergency Response Team
- Ensure emergency equipment is maintained and ready for use
- Promote safety, wellbeing, and person-centred care

**Skills and Experiences**:
What You’ll Bring
- Availability to work on a casual basis, including early and late shifts across a 7-day roster
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or Individual Support (essential)
- Experience or knowledge in emergency response or first aid
- Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical capability to meet the demands of the role
- Current First Aid & CPR, Police Check, and Driver’s Licence
