**About the Role**:
Reporting into the Team Leader Accounts Support, this position will be responsible for keeping up-to-date account records and ensuring overdue accounts are followed up and reconciled promptly. Whilst you will be able to work autonomously, your proven experience in accounting and financial support will further contribute to the already dynamic, high performing wider team. You will be able to build rapport with all levels of the organisation, thrive in a fast paced environment, be able to work with many systems and processes and be outcomes focused. This is a full time position based at our Scarborough, Queensland campus.

**_This role covers a broad range of duties including but not limited to:_**
- Full End-to-End Accounts Receivable. Manage accounts to Trial Balance
- Accounts Receivable: Credit control, contract and major client invoicing.
- Reconciliations: Sub ledger and Bank reconciliations.
- Inter-Company: Monthly invoicing and reconciliations.
- Month end duties & GST Compliance.
- Customer liaison and fast delivery of services
- Ad-hoc tasks as determined by the Team Leader or Accountant, which may include but not be limited to reconciliations and data analysis.

**Required Experience**:

- At least 5 years in a similar capacity essential
- Advanced Excel essential
- Advanced knowledge range accounting software packages. Arrow Tencia will be an advantage
- Prioritisation and established time management experience
- Established interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- A positive and problem solving mind-set.
- Needs to be a quick learner and be off the ground running
- Qualifications in Finance will be an advantage
- Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia. A current Working with Children and National Police Checks are required and can be arranged for the suitable applicant._
