The Maintenance Assistant is responsible in assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in the day-to-day general maintenance of all apartments, ensuring the upkeep of the rooms and maintaining them to a 4-star Seashells standard.

EXPECTATION OF DUTIES
- Check and undertake all maintenance requirements daily in apartments prior to guest arrivals
- Follow and maintain all aspects of property OH&S
- Assist Housekeeping and Front office where required
- Perform general apartment maintenance duties, including by not limited to, painting, cleaning, changing light bulbs, repairing fixtures and fittings, tuning televisions.
- Maintenance duties on weekends and public holidays if required.
- Main shifts will be from Weds/Thurs-Sat 3-4days per week with occasionally helping out our Fremantle property.
- Operate, maintain and repair equipment, tools and vehicles.
- Order and receive stock and other requisitions.
- Pick up and deliver furniture.
- Maintain spreadsheets and Word documents as necessary.
- Any other associated duties as directed by Property Manager, Head of Housekeeping.
- Maintenance emergency duties on nights, weekends and public holidays should this be required.

**Salary**: From $28.08 per hour
