**About the Role**

This position is responsible for providing support to cross functionally design, coordinate, and deliver strategic visitor, events and investor marketing, and communications for the City that actively reach and target identified market segments to increase visitor numbers, length of stay and visitor spend.

This exciting opportunity is a permanent full-time role that suits an individual who can support the establishment, guidance and nurturing of the strategic positioning of the City of Parramatta within the visitor, business and local community.

**About You**

The Marketing & Communications Officer is a driven individual with the proven experience to develop and drive marketing and communications initiatives designed to make Parramatta a destination of choice.

**You will bring**
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or other related field
- Systematic project management skills and experience
- High level of proficiency with data analysis, adept at using analytics tools and reporting to track key analytics Excellent communication and copyright skills with the ability to translate between technical, creative and business stakeholders

**What’s on offer**

We are offering a permanent full-time position with an attractive salary from $98,129 per annum plus 11% superannuation.
