**How you’ll make an impact**

AMP Bank is a technology enabled, challenger bank, currently the 11th largest Bank in Australia, with ~1% market share and one of the growth divisions of AMP Australia.

This role will assist the Digital and Direct Lending channel’s growth ambitions by triaging customer leads to digital forms and home loan specialists, managing deals from approval to settlement, monitoring digital mortgage webchat, and answering inbound calls from customers seeking direct lending assistance.

Home Loan Associates play a pivotal and crucial role, often the conduit between customers, home loan specialists, and stakeholders across the bank. To aid development, Home Loan Associates will also be given opportunities to write new business and increase loans.

You’ll make an impact by:
Clients
- Accepting initial customer enquiry and assessing whether AMP Bank Home Loan Specialists may be able to assist the customer with their ambitions

Team
- Maintain reporting and tracking for the team, including status of open Home Lending opportunities
- Proactively and positively work with colleague Home Loan Specialists and other departments to achieve business outcomes, through effective relationship building.

Compliance/Risk
- Follow the structured framework for liaising with customers
- Work in accordance with AMP’s policies, processes and procedures and delegations
- Work in a fully compliant manner in line with internal guidelines and obligations, and external regulatory requirements.

**What you will bring to the team**
- Banking or financial services experience is preferable
- Exceptional telephone and oral communication skills, including effective listening skills
- Decision-making ability as well as complaint & conflict resolution/objection handling skills
