**Your new company**:
We are an Australian geospatial services company that has been in business for over 60 years. Our offices are located across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. Last year we joined a larger American company - Woolpert, a leading Architecture, Engineering and Geospatial Services company with 1,600+ employees. AAM specialises in the collection, analysis and delivery of spatial data. We capture measurement and location data by surveying the built and natural environments from the air, on the ground and over water. We build digital maps and models of the physical world. Our clients use our maps, models and spatial data to plan, design, build and manage their assets, infrastructure and environments. This is a technical industry where innovation and technologies are constantly evolving.

**Your new role**:
The Support Consultant position involves firsthand interaction with customers to resolve technical support tickets raised through our geospatial help desk.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Act as a direct customer liaison
- Manage and resolve first and second level software support requests
- Perform troubleshooting and technical analysis of software issues related to but not limited to VertiGIS Geocortex and Esri ArcGIS; and
- Provide regular reporting on support KPIs.

**What we’re looking for**:
To be successful in this role you will already have prior experience in a similar environment together with experience in geospatial software or technical support along with:

- Strong customer service background, taking pride in your work and striving to achieve a high level of customer service
- A variety of technical computing skills and abilities to diagnose issues on Windows and PC environments
- Ability to work as part of a team, and also able to work individually on appropriate tasks
- Excellent English communications skills, verbal and written with strong interpersonal skills
- Troubleshooting experience in a Microsoft environment; and
- General networking knowledge with an understanding of internet communication protocols (HTTP/HTTPS) an advantage.

**Minimum qualifications and experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in IT, computer science, software engineering or geomatics
- One to two years’ experience in a similar role
- National police clearance
- Must hold permanent and full working rights in Australia
