Our client is a leader in material handling solutions, serving a broad range of customers across multiple industries including manufacturing and process industries, as well as shipyards, ports and terminals. They deliver consistently high standards of service via skilled and dedicated professionals, working as a team and they are in the hunt for someone to join their service sales team in Melbourne. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the best and leading brands in the market.
**About the role**:
- Responsible for meeting assigned sales targets for repairs, retrofits, hoists and other light lifting equipment, spare parts and in-house repairs
- Responsible for sales cases and/or account actions as needed to support activities generated
- Provide quotations to both contracted customers and new prospects
- Establish and maintain on-going communications with the service department to address issues related to the customer base
- Management of assigned accounts, key account business locations and preparation of sales offers
**About you**:
- Must be mechanically minded
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a technical sales or similar role
- Excellent customer service skills (internal and external)
- A high level of motivation and ability to use your initiative
- Possession of strong commercial Acumen
