BT Financial Group (BT) is the wealth management arm of the Westpac Group. BT designs, manufactures and administers platforms which enable customers to achieve their financial goals through the accumulation and management of personal wealth. Distribution of BT’s products is conducted through an extensive network of financial advisers.

We currently have an opportunity within our business for an Associate Portfolio Manager. This role exists to provide support to Managed Investments business through operational and customer service support; undertaking client servicing activity through support provided to Senior Portfolio Managers; supporting the National Investment Specialist in a sales support capacity; and supporting the Trade Management and Order Execution Manager.

Further responsibilities include the following:

- Respond to customer, planner and portfolio manager requests
- Identification and preparation of client presentation material for visits by Portfolio Managers
- Preparation of proposed activity on Corporate actions
- Identification of, and subsequent distribution of, material that enhances the value of Managed Investments to clients and advisers
- Monitoring client portfolios on a daily basis in a Portfolio Managers absences and make trade recommendations for approval by another Portfolio Manager
- Preparation of sales content including presentation packs and pitch documentation
- Preparation of sales related reporting such as pipeline and flow reporting
- Development and execution of distribution related campaigns
- Contribution to various bank channel distribution strategies
- Provide support to the Trade Execution Manager including managing and execution of trades, booking trades and managing model portfolio changes
- Preparation of sales related reporting such as pipeline and flow reporting

**What do I need?**

To be successful in this role you will have strong administration skills, ability to liaise with all levels of clients and stakeholders, and effectively provide high level customer service.

- Proven communication and relationship management skills
- Results oriented and proactive
- Keen interest in the financial markets essential
- Proven interpersonal skills coupled with confidence and willingness to provide customer and team support
- Strong decision making skills
- Effectively manage tasks and leverage resources
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or Economics or similar
- Securities Institute qualification (RG146) desirable
