We are a leading supplier of solvents, chemicals and raw materials to manufacturing industries in Australia and New Zealand.

We operate with a strong focus on safety, health, and the environment and are a customer-centric company.

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer to join our Altona based team on a permanent basis.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Processing customer purchase orders and requests daily
- Generating and distributing paperwork to drivers and operations staff for receipt and dispatch of inventory
- Instigating Works Orders and attaching blend sheets for production scheduling
- Processing paperwork in the Exobiz Inventory System to ensure all movements have been properly recorded
- Filing movement dockets and other documentation as required
- Monitoring and reporting to customers on inventory control and movement information
- Conducting induction training for all visitors and drivers
- Ensuring drivers sign in and out of the site visitors register
- Assisting the Administration department as required, for example, by running regular invoice reports to ensure that all charges to customers are correct
- Assisting with Aviation exports
- Providing quotes to customers for special requirements
- Purchasing goods on behalf of customers
- Negotiating pricing with suppliers
- Receipting and dispatching inventory daily
- Liasing with customers on all stock rotation requirements
- Conducting stock reconciliation and physical stock takes
- Controlling Chep pallets
- Maintaining inventory and batch number records in the Exobiz system
- Maintaining and monitoring purchase orders for incoming goods

**Key Requirements**:

- Strong customer service skills (external and internal)
- Proficient computer skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent prioritising and organisation skills
- Demonstrated problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of ADG Code for Transport & Storage of DG’s is desirable
- Ability to adapt effectively to change
- A flexible and collaborative attitude towards colleagues and peers
