**Investigation Review Officer - 12-Month Contract**

We are currently seeking an **Investigation Review Officer** to join our team in Brisbane on a **12-month contract may lead to a permanent position within Fraud & Intelligence**. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in insurance claims, investigations, or fraud detection who thrives in a collaborative and customer-focused environment.

**What you’ll do**:

- Conduct thorough, impartial investigations into insurance claims, identifying potential fraud or misrepresentation.
- Gather and assess evidence using investigative tools and techniques, ensuring all actions align with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Complete recorded interviews, perform relevant searches, and assess supporting documentation.
- Communicate outcomes with clarity and empathy, managing sensitive customer interactions with professionalism.
- Collaborate with external investigators and internal teams to drive positive outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of audit compliance, risk awareness, and reporting integrity.
- Contribute to a supportive team culture, participating in training, knowledge sharing, and capability uplift initiatives.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Proven experience in insurance claims management and/or investigations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
- A customer-first mindset with a resilient and professional approach to sensitive or challenging conversations.
- Familiarity with investigative or legal frameworks related to insurance is desirable.
- Qualifications in investigations or insurance (desirable).
