Our client is an enviable family owned company with a substantial portfolio of independent wineries and brands. Reporting to the National Sales Director you will work closely with key stakeholders to drive sales for the portfolio. Key relationships include distributor partners, high profile trade customers and brand principals. This is a diverse and challenging role requiring someone who is comfortable working independently whilst also influencing a variety of stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- managing your own existing accounts with a focus on premium venues and key retail partners
- maintaining a broad contact base across the Australian wine industry
- work closely with distributor partners to drive brand visibility and sales
- maintain strong relationships with import partners to drive sales
- host winemakers and coordinate in market activity
- organise and participate in trade and consumer events
- domestic travel required and occasional international travel
You will bring:
- a passion for and experience working in the wine industry
- WSET or CMS qualifications
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- self motivated, resourceful and highly organised
- a positive approach with a strong work ethic and integrity
- ability to present and/or educate and motivate others
