Within our Australian Funerals People and Culture team, we are excited to announce an opening for a Development Coach overseeing Western Australia and South Australia.

Reporting to the Learning Manager, the Development Coach will play a pivotal role in onboarding new team members, ensuring a successful induction process, and delivering high-quality learning outcomes. With a strong emphasis on both technical and customer service excellence, this role will modernize and transform learning experiences for the Australian Funerals division. This training will ideally take place face-to-face to closely replicate real on the job scenarios, providing team members with technical knowledge and support necessary for their roles.

You will establish and execute training plans that focus on the core job skills required within the funerals business. By analyzing the performance, skills, knowledge and needs of targeted audiences, you’ll collaborate with the Learning Manager to create impactful learning experiences that align with national standards and drive enhanced customer satisfaction. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in assessing and providing feedback on learners’ competency and capability, ensuring their readiness to meet the high standards of our business.

**Skills, experience and qualifications required for this role include**:
**Essential**
- Proven ability to transfer knowledge systematically and logically to others.
- A solid understanding of contemporary adult learning practice and methodologies
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Strong facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills, particularly with new employees
- Willingness and availability to travel interstate and work at various InvoCare sites as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively at all levels
- You will have a sense of comfort working with grieving families and the deceased.
- A forward-thinking mindset with strong alignment to InvoCare’s values, coupled with the ability to empathise with vocational and caring-based principles, while understanding the commercial drivers of innovation and fiscal responsibility.

**Desirable**
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment or willingness to obtain the qualification
- Knowledge within the funeral industry within a strong focus on frontline operations.
