We currently have an opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our team based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

The key responsibility for the Commercial Manager will be to support our Government and Integrated Facilities Management lines of business, across commercials, governance, risk and opportunity. This role will see you assisting the Head of Commercial with governance and commercial risk management for bids across the different business units.

**What you’ll do**

The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:

- Accountable for commercial issues and initiatives in the lines of business being supported.
- Lead the commercial, business development governance, project governance, commercial risk and opportunity functions.
- Implement commercial strategies to ensure business performance and sustainability is achieved through strong commercial governance, financial performance and solid growth achievement.
- Develop plans for improved commercial outcomes across the business leveraging value from the balance sheet, commercial relationships and operations.
- Assist the Head of Commercial to oversee the governance, black hat review and commercial risk management for bids undertaken by the business unit.
- Work with contract managers to ensure opportunities for growth through contract variations are identified, scoped, negotiated, agreed and implemented.

**What you’ll bring**
- Proven experience at a senior level in a complex services business, managing multiple services and locations. Overseeing Government contracting would be advantageous.
- Experience in new energy solutions such as battery and solar is beneficial.
- Demonstrated management experience within a collaborative working environment, delivering the required outcomes against a performance-based contract with agreed key performance indicators.
- Demonstrated experience in working with major subcontractors and suppliers.
- Experience in managing and implementing project and bid governance systems.
