About the Role
The Metropolitan North Regional Services team is looking for someone dynamic and eager to achieve resolutions for parents, carers, and community members.
Responsibilities include:
Provide quality advice and assistance, about departmental policy and guidelines, to parents, carers, and other members of the school community across the region
Take an active role, as the first point of contact, in assisting parents, carers, and community members to resolve their concerns, by providing a conduit between them and school personnel
Listen and understand using empathy and compassion, via initial telephone contact with parents, carers, and other community members regarding concerns or complaints, and refer them to the school to discuss a suitable outcome
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to listen with empathy and respond with professionalism
Confidence in managing sensitive matters independently
Strong administrative and record-keeping capability
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
