This Federal Government Department’s primary goal is to enable access to quality training and employment support to Australian’s. They are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to deliver the below responsibilities.

**Your new role**

This team has recently been at the forefront of delivering a new program which has been
** co-**designed with industry partners as a means to mitigate risk.

Primary duties include:

- Collaborating with teams to integrate security measures
- Develop strategies to secure technologies
- Conduct assessments, pen testing and vulnerability scans to identify risks and vulnerabilities

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate experience in a technical or specialist cyber role. You will need to demonstrate in depth knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and other security tools. You will be an excellent problem solver, able to analyse complex systems and risks with great communication

This role is exclusively open to Canberra, ACT. There is no capacity to work remote due to the nature of the role. To be eligible for this position you will need to be an Australian citizen and hold an NV1 clearance or higher.
