Opes Cyber Security is seeking experienced cyber professionals to deliver Cyber Range capability to the Australian Defence Force (ADF). These roles offer a unique opportunity to design, build, and sustain advanced cyber training environments that strengthen Australia's national cyber resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop virtualised cyber terrain (VMware, Hyper-V, cloud platforms)
  • Build and maintain simulation environments for cyber training and joint exercises
  • Integrate Blue/Red/Grey space environments for realistic scenarios
  • Support live cyber exercises, troubleshooting, and range sustainment
  • Collaborate with Defence stakeholders to plan and deliver tailored solutions

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • 4–7 years in system and network administration
  • Proven experience in cyber range operations, simulation, or exercise planning
  • Familiarity with Defence ICT environments and classified systems
  • Hands-on experience with virtualisation technologies and security tools
  • Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, ICT, or equivalent
  • SANS Cyber Courses (Level 4+) or equivalent certifications
