You will be joining a pioneering global healthcare business in continuous expansion, supplying advanced wound care products, consumer healthcare and new healthcare technologies predominately in the hospital sector.
**Your new role**
Due to growth plans within the Australian market, there exists a new position within the Wound Care division for a Key Account Manager in Melbourne to cover part of the Victorian territory. Reporting to the Regional Business Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth objectives, achieving listing of the Wound Care portfolio into key accounts within the hospital network by developing long-term relationships with key customers and KOLs across the territory.
- Planning and implementing a local territory business plan in order to maximise growth.
- Achievement of business growth targets and product enlisting targets.
- Driving the hospital enlisting process following state contract awarding notice.
- Implementation of contracts in assigned market segments.
- Developing Regional / National Key Opinion Leaders into advocates of the brand.
- Working closely with the Marketing and Clinical teams.
- Building the company’s reputations as a key partner in wound care to clinicians (including Podiatrists, Endocrinologist, Vascular Surgeons, Wound Care Clinicians and Wound Care Nurses).
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, cutting-edge practices and techniques, current publications & regulations.
- Ensuring CRM is maintained for accounts, contacts and customer activities.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Technical knowledge or technical experience in Wound Care is a key to succeed in this role.
- Successful key account management and business development background, gained ideally within Wound Care or in the medical devices/pharmaceutical industries, engaging with clinicians and Key Opinion Leaders in the public hospital environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, science or related field is desirable.
- Experienced use in CRM systems as Salesforce and good time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow to build high impact relationships.
- ‘Can do’ attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently.
- KPIs driven.
