**About the role**:
The Head of Independent Retail & Emerging Channels will build, drive and manage the overall strategy, business results and partnership with Independents and Emerging Customers for the Don KRC product range.
The role is responsible for building a business plan that delivers agreed volume, profit and share for Don KRC. The role will work closely with the Commercial Director to deliver on the overall Commercial Plan that is aligned with the specific role the channel plays in broader Don KRC 3-year plan.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop, Drive & effectively manage the Joint Business and Category Plans
- Lead the channel strategy and customer plans for Emerging Channels including Aldi, Costco, and P&C customers
- Present, communicate and meet regularly with relevant customers
- Build & drive the customer contact plan across priority groups
- Drive, manage and maximise product plans
- drive Forecast Accuracy through the 13-week demand management plan
- Lead, Coach and develop direct reports to achieve their individual performance & development plans

**About you**:
- Degree qualification in Business/ Commerce/ Marketing desirable
- 10+ years Senior Customer Management experience within FMCG or like industry
- Strong Understanding of the Independents channel preferred
- Ability to build strong customer engagement.
- Proven skilled Negotiation skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness in building team engagement, cultural change, and process improvement with large teams
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Experience identifying and deploying process improvements
