Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Gardener at Westgate Park, located in Port Melbourne, VIC. The Head Gardener will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of garden maintenance of Westgate Park and surrounding sites to ensure the parks presentation is of the highest standard, managing resources effectively, coordinating with stakeholders to meet standards, monitoring safety compliance and risk management across operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in horticulture, landscaping, or grounds maintenance
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A relevant qualification in horticulture, or a related field is beneficial (diploma or above)
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Valid Employee Working with Children's Check (or willing to obtain at your own cost)
