**Based in the North Hobart, this well-known school is looking for a new Business Coordinator for their primary campus. **Your new role**
**Working closely with Human resources, and the Deputy Head you will be working in the early learning years space and team to assist with the day to day running of the centres and rosters. In this role you will provide high level administration support, clear communication around rosters and scheduling, while performing other duties such as:
- Ensuring reporting on child related safeguarding and environment hazards
- Daily maintenance of memberships, subscriptions, and communication with families
- Organise and liaise with deputy heads in arranging tours and sites visits
- Rostering of staff including relief and unplanned absences, leave requests, and ROD; while maintaining staff ratios and budget
- Administrative action on Account Payable and Accounts receivable, financial reports, petty cash, and organisational reporting
**What you'll need to succeed***
To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrated experience in rostering and maintaining/ implementing administrative duties. You will be adaptable, work well autonomously, excellent communication skills, and are able to build strong and lasting relationships. You will also maintain the value and ethos outlined in the organisation. In addition to the above, you will:
- High-level communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal), excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated professional integrity, whilst also always upholding a high level of confidentiality, discretion and judgement.
- Ability work independently and deliver high quality work in a busy environment
- Have a background or related experience in childcare/education
As this role is based in the education sector you will need to hold a current Working with Vulnerable People Registration and a satisfactory national police criminal history check.
