About the opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior to Mid-Level UX/UI Designer to join our growing team in a Fixed Term, 12 month contract position. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating user-centered digital experiences that meet our customer's needs. **Key responsibilities of the role include**: - Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web, mobile, and other digital platforms - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are aligned with business goals and technical requirements. - Conduct user testing and design refinement. - Ensure designs are user-centred, accessible, and visually appealing - Keep up-to-date with design trends and best practices in UX/UI design - Contribute to the development and evolution of the company's design system and style guide. Specifically, we are looking for people with: - A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in UX/UI design. - Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of UX and UI design principles. - Experience using design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. - Ability to translate complex user requirements into simple, intuitive, and visually appealing designs. - Experience with rapid prototyping Understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - A passion for creating great digital experiences for users How to apply To apply, please include an updated resume and a cover letter outlining your interest in the role and how you could make a difference at Seeing Machines.
