About the opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior to Mid-Level UX/UI Designer to join our growing team in a Fixed Term, 12 month contract position. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating user-centered digital experiences that meet our customer's needs.
**Key responsibilities of the role include**:
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web, mobile, and other digital platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are aligned with business goals and technical requirements.
- Conduct user testing and design refinement.
- Ensure designs are user-centred, accessible, and visually appealing
- Keep up-to-date with design trends and best practices in UX/UI design
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the company's design system and style guide.
About you
We value the breadth and depth of experience that our people bring to their work. We are seeking people with a good mix of technical competency and personal capability. Specifically, we are looking for people with:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in UX/UI design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of UX and UI design principles.
- Experience using design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to translate complex user requirements into simple, intuitive, and visually appealing designs.
- Experience with rapid prototyping Understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for creating great digital experiences for users
