**Overview**
Working as part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team, the receptionist is the first point of call for Northern Rivers Community Gateway. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient function of the Community Hub, Trauma Counselling service and Choices reproductive and sexual health clinic.
The position will assist with the day-to-day functions of the front office environment including answering phones, managing appointments and
greeting and directing visitors, clients and patients.
**Selection criteria**
**Essential**
- Demonstrated experience in a reception or front of house role.
- ** **Ability to work collaboratively as part of team and work independently as duties require.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution skills.
- ** **Demonstrated ability to take initiative and problem solve to deliver an effective and timely service, with a professional attitude toward work, customers, and colleagues.
- Ability to organise self, multi-task in a busy work environment with competing priorities and demands, and cope under pressure at busy times**.**:
- Good computer skills including competency in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, and database packages.
**Desirable**
- Experience within a medical reception environment, including knowledge of medical terminology and confidentiality.
- Experience in using ‘Best Practice’ software.
**Additional requirements**
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- Current NSW Working with Children Check
- Evidence of Covid Vaccination
