About the role Main Street Medical Centre is a large, family oriented GP practice in Murwillumbah – Northern NSW.
We're looking for a caring and capable Medical Receptionist to join our close-knit team, as we say farewell to a colleague who is retiring.
This is a part time position offering 3 days per week , with flexibility to cover annual/personal leave as required.
You will work in a friendly, vibrant and busy environment providing quality healthcare and exceptional customer service to our patients.

What we're looking for

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a customer service role within a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge in using Best Practice management software, AutoMed , eftpos/Tyro is desirable but not essential.
