Medical Receptionist

Casino Medical Centre is currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our team. We are seeking a person with:
- Excellent communication skills, telephone and interpersonal
- A professional approach and excellent work ethic
- Flexibility with working hours
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated high level of computer skills
You will be responsible for:
- Managing appointments and welcoming patients as the first point of contact within the centre
- Answering incoming phone calls and assisting with enquiries
- Attending to patient billing and processing payments
- Providing high quality, accurate and efficient reception and administration services
- Banking
- Incoming and outgoing correspondence
- End of day reconciliation
What you'll need to succeed in this role
- Ability to show initiative and work independently as required
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task - prioritising patient care
- Work well under pressure
- Be reliable and well presented
- Must be available to cover various shifts from 8am to 6pm Mon - Fri
- Applicants should be prepared to meet immunisation requirements relevant to working in a health care environment.
Desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in medical reception
- Previous experience in the use of Best Practice Software
- An understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule
