**Who We Are**
Industry Fund Services (IFS) has partnered with industry super funds since 1994 to help their members achieve a secure retirement. Our primary services include:
- The recovery of unpaid super to protect members’ entitlements, and
- Financial Advice solutions; comprising licensee services, service model design and related consultancy services.
**The Opportunity**
Account Manager in the Unpaid Super business unit.
You will create and manage long-term, trusted relationships with IFS’s Unpaid Super client-funds (Industry Superannuation Funds). You will be the ‘voice of the customer’ - the internal client-fund advocate. Working in a small team and closely with the Executive Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of assigned client-funds, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new business opportunities with new funds.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the lead point of contact for allocated client-fund account management matters to ensure optimal relationships are maintained and are in line with the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Negotiating contracts and closing agreements to maximise revenue for IFS (in consultation with EM)
- Forecasting and tracking key account metrics and reviewing pricing
- Implementing strategic projects and reviews to maintain retention, value and fit for purpose
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with current and new funds
- Undertaking compliance and analysis reporting and providing recommendations
- Providing leadership across the Unpaid Super team as the ‘voice of the customer’ - internal client-fund advocate -and ensure this a key driver of our decision making.
**About You**
We are looking for a current or aspiring Account Manager who is motivated, enthusiastic and looking to further their career with a Company you can be proud of. This role will require you to bring a variety of skills and experience that you’ve developed and refined over the years.
You will have the following (selection criteria):
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- High level relationship management skills
- Demonstrated Account Management experience
- Demonstrated Business Development/Sales experience
- Business acumen including the ability to achieve commercially focused outcomes
- Sound analytical skills and the ability to provide clear commentary around complex issues
- Ability to make a positive contribution to various teams (a collaborative approach)
- Project management skills an advantage
- Sound knowledge of organisational requirements including:
- Internal Policy and processes
- Service level agreements
- Business plans
- Government legislation
The following will give you an advantage:
- Deep understanding of the Superannuation industry and unpaid super recoveries
- Tertiary qualifications in business or other relevant degree
