**Job Description**:
**Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities**
- Responsible for updating and coordinating the maintenance of work instructions/standard work, and relationship to ISO 9001 Quality Management System procedures, as needed.
- Perform internal audits and management reviews for compliance to the ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Assist departmental personnel with the execution of Corrective and Preventative Actions, Root Cause Analysis and Action items as needed.
- Maintain Certificate of Calibration documentation records on all gage assets.
- Perform WIP, first piece inspection, supplier capabilities, gauge R & R studies and other quality plans as they pertain to the manufacturing and or purchased material.
- Approves or rejects parts as necessary.
- Prepare Quality Assurance Reports, assist with the execution of machine verification and manage the document control records for machines.
- Facilitates risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects. Works with leadership team to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks.
- Lead and support the site in achieving EHS targets & objectives while creating a Zero Harm Safety culture.
- Prepares required reports, plans, and other government EHS filings and ensures timely and accurate submission.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**

Associates degree in technical discipline or applicable training/certification.

**Experience**
- Minimum of 2 - 5 years safety and health experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 5 - 7 years in Quality role in manufacturing.
- Understanding of GD&T, ASQ CQE, ASQ SSGB, CMM measurement reporting and inspection layout metrology.
- Experience managing EH&S program/Projects manufacturing
- Understanding of the audit process including types of audits, planning, preparation, execution, reporting results, and follow-up.

- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management software required.
- In depth knowledge of quality principles, techniques, and methods
- Knowledge of ISO Quality Standards
- Proficient at reading and understanding drawings/specifications
- Proficient in the selection, setup and utilize proper inspection equipment for verification of product quality such as: Micrometers, Calipers, Steel rules and tapes, Height gauges, Go/No Go type gauges, Threaded rings and Jo-blocks.

ISO 9001 Auditing experience **Physical and other Requirements**
- Must be able to stand for 1 hour
- Must be able to walk on uneven ballast
- Must be able to lift 20lbs
- Must be able to distinguish colors
