About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bobcat / Excavator Combo Operator to join our team at M&M Earthmoving in Brendale, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a variety of construction projects across the region.

What you'll be doing

  • Operate a range of Bobcat and Excavator machinery to carry out all aspects of earthmoving in the general hire space including drainage,demolition, and site preparation tasks, electrical trenching etc.
  • Perform daily pre-start checks and routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Follow all site safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Liaise with the site supervisor to understand project requirements and timelines
  • Contribute to the efficient completion of construction projects within budget and on schedule

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience operating Bobcat and Excavator machinery in a construction or earthmoving environment
  • Strong knowledge of construction equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and specifications
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Flexibility to work on a casual basis and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence and construction industry tickets/licences
