Super Retail Group are looking for a Transport Quality & Compliance Officer based in their Brendale Office in Brisbane. This new role will be responsible for the network monitoring, reporting and promotion of quality and safe work encompassing all domestic transport operations. This is a hands on role, best suited to someone who possesses strong analytical skills, coupled with an enquiring mind and a determined focus on safety and transport compliance.

**No two days will be the same, but the key responsibilities of the role will include**:

- Getting out and about in Supply Chain operations.. Working with Distribution Centre partners and teams, visiting stores and SuppliersGetting amongst and actively overseeing the operations
- Providing guidance on required changes to internal compliance policies and procedures
- Active maintenance of the Transport Incident Management system, including administration, reporting, investigation and consultation with stakeholders
- Monitoring safe work practices through domestic transport operations in compliance with company policy, safety standards, legislative and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the delivery of Transport KPI’s by working directly between Distribution Centres and Transport suppliers to manage service to target
- Supporting the Transport group’s commercial operating position, including loss prevention, claims management and KPI performance
- Incident management and investigation
- Assisting SRG teams in interpreting company business and performance standards and Legislative requirements
- Auditing
- Maintaining a safe working environment for all team members by ensuring compliance with all WHS safety programs and building a commitment culture throughout the team

**To deliver successful outcomes in this role you will have first and foremost an ENQUIRING MIND and ;**
- Experience working in Quality Assurance, Compliance, Safety, Risk or Audit
- Experience working with third party service providers and implementing/enforcing practices or procedures
- Understanding of National Heavy Vehicle regulations, standards, practices and policies
- Experience in Freight and Logistics
- Experience in Incident Investigations and Reporting
- Operational understanding of Risk and Risk Principles in order to contribute administration support to relevant registers
- Tertiary certificate in WHS, Compliance, or equivalent desired
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills
