**Role Summary**

ALDI is looking for an individual who wants to further develop their existing leadership skills and contribute to a team focused on delivering results in a supportive work environment. As the Section Leader - Quality Control you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming products meet ALDI’s agreed specifications while doing so in a safe and compliant manner.

**This role is diverse and will include**:

- Coaching - Encourage, train, motivate and develop Warehouse Checkers and Warehouse Checker Assistant Section Leaders.
- Supervising - Ensuring resources are effectively utilised at all times.
- Team Work - Working with other leaders in all sections to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with both internal procedures and legislative requirements.
- Conducting in-depth specification testing including shelf-life testing to ensure products comply with ALDI product requirements.
- Communicating with National Quality Assurance regarding product quality, specifications or any other relevant information which will assist them in decision-making.
- Engaging and liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and the ALDI store network.
- Determined - being exceptionally hardworking, you’ll rise to any challenge.
- Highly motivated - with the charisma to lead and coach team members.
- Details orientated - ensuring quality standards are met.
- Approachable - empathetic and understanding to the needs of team members.
- Flexible - able to work a rotating 5 out of 7 days roster.
- Hands-on - willing to go the extra mile in a fast paced team environment.
- Organised - demonstrated ability managing schedules.
- Experienced - leading teams of people to achieve results.
- Experience with fruit and vegetables and/or meat will be considered favourable but is not essential.
