**Your new company**

They are seeking a principal designer (civil) who has the ability to make a difference for the people of Queensland every day. They contribute to the community by improving economic wellbeing, quality of life, safety, and wellbeing.

**Your new role**

You will operate in a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver civil design components of transport infrastructure projects. Additionally, you will provide expert technical advice to civil designers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders in alignment with industry and departmental standards and policies.

Additional responsibilities:

- Develop transport infrastructure civil design models in the strategic planning, concept and development phases of projects
- Ensure planning and design principles are implemented in accordance with the relevant policies, standards, guidelines and legislation

**What you'll need to succeed**

You can develop and recommend potential design solutions to customers to address design risks, constraints, and sustainability implications. Additionally, you research and implement design best practices and technologies which enhance the delivery of civil design services. Lastly, you have a tertiary qualification in civil engineering.
