This role offers you the chance to make a tangible impact on community safety and asset longevity by leading the delivery of critical maintenance, rehabilitation, and safety projects.
You will thrive in an environment that values knowledge sharing, teamwork, and professional growth, while working alongside a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality outcomes.
With flexible working opportunities and a strong focus on training and development, this position is ideal for someone who is passionate about engineering excellence and eager to support the next generation of professionals.

Your day-to-day activities will involve providing expert guidance on technical matters, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver maintenance and safety initiatives efficiently, and ensuring that all works adhere to rigorous quality standards.
You will be entrusted with significant responsibility for contract administration—overseeing tender processes, monitoring budgets, reporting on progress—and will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders.
By promoting best practices in engineering design and construction methods while upholding environmental stewardship, you will help safeguard public assets for future generations.
Your ability to mentor junior staff members will also contribute significantly to building a knowledgeable workforce capable of meeting evolving industry challenges.

Coordinate operational aspects of project delivery by optimising systems and processes at every stage of the project management model.
Maintain strict adherence to relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements to support responsible decision-making in design and construction activities.
Supervise resource allocation across multidisciplinary teams while fostering effective teamwork and nurturing a positive attitude towards achieving organisational objectives.

Above all else, your passion for creating safer communities through sustainable engineering solutions sets you apart as an invaluable contributor.
Demonstrated experience in managing the design or construction of civil engineering projects across diverse environments such as urban settings or multi-lane high-speed roads.
Proven ability to develop comprehensive contract documentation as well as procure, assess design or construct tenders, and manage award phases effectively within public sector frameworks.
