**Job Description**:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor, to join our Global Express Division based in Melbourne Airport. Working Monday to Friday (PM), you will effectively manage your team to achieve organisational objectives, whilst promoting a safety focused work environment. Driving productivity and efficiency will be critical to this role, along with identifying areas of improvement across import and export door-to-door DIFOT and exceeding customer service expectations.

**As the Operations Supervisor, you will**:

- Be accountable for the safety of the team regarding work performance.
- Lead by example - demonstrate safety behaviours and Toll standards.
- Focus on continuous improvement with proposed work practices and compliance - legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Effectively manage labour costs and ensure budget requirements and productivity is optimized.
- Ensure operational and customer requirements are met.
- Make effective decisions regarding day-to-day operational matters.
- Report and escalate HSE-related matters immediately and in accordance with Toll processes.

- Experience in a similar role within the Transport/Logistics industry.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- An understanding of HSE-related legislation (WHS legislation and COR).
- Exceptional analytical skills - reporting, P&L, identify and remedy operational efficiencies.
- Demonstrated experienced in leading, training, and mentoring staff.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and meet competing deadlines to meet service demands.
- Computer literacy - Intermediate MS Office Suite skills.
