As a PUD Supervisor you will be responsible for all aspects of safety, performance, resourcing, and team leadership for all PUD operational areas and/or operational processes. This includes supervising all activities and resources associated with the area/shift to achieve agreed objectives, optimising profitability, and business efficiency with a strong customer focus, in a safe and socially acceptable manner.

Critical to this role is the ability to plan and coordinate daily activities and hold team members & sub-contractors to account. This position plays an important role in achieving daily KPI’s and identifying / actioning process improvements, along with engaging support from other operational departments. Specific responsibilities are as follows:
- As a member of the site leadership team, proactively lead the team/workgroup by setting and maintaining work standards and behaviours, holding team members to account- In Iine with delegated authority coordinate, direct and deploy resources (labour, equipment) to ensure operational and customer requirements are met- Effectively manage labour costs (e.g., hours of work and approval of time for team members), ensuring that labour is managed within budget requirements and productivity is optimised- Provide first-level engagement with team members on performance, conduct and productivity issues, absenteeism, leave requirements and associated matters- Make sound and timely decisions regarding day-to-day operational matters within area(s) of responsibility and supervision, as per delegated authority.- Deliver in accordance with the site/BU plan and ensure customer focus is maintained in terms of delivery outcomes and performance- Ensure customer focus is present in all activities undertaken by the team, always considering the impact on customer service delivery in decision-making.- Work collaboratively with customers and internal stakeholders (other Supervisors and Managers) to ensure expectations and plans are delivered

**Qualifications**:
An open mindset to continuously develop and strive for a career at Global Express along with a can-do attitude will set you apart.- Qualification in Logistics or similar discipline preferred- Transport and Logistics related industry experience- 2 - 3 years of line management experience- Computer literacy - Intermediate MS Office Suite skills.- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.- An understanding of HSE-related legislation (WHS legislation and COR).
