Opal Packaging Plus is an industry-leading packaging and consumables business. Our latest opportunity for you to join our team is that of Warehouse Operations Supervisor based at our Truganina site.

The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is accountable for leading, driving and coordinating a small production operation within the Truganina site along with the efficient operation of the warehouse to support the servicing of customer requirements.

You will contribute to the success of Opal by:

- Direct the operations of the warehouse and stock management system to ensure the maximum use of space with efficient and profitable operation which meets customer and business needs
- Lead and manage the production activities to achieve the most effective outcome in support of business objectives
- Ensure that the loading of trucks is done in a safe and efficient manner
- Undertaking planning activities including matching appropriate stock levels in line with business rules
- Ensure all products are made on time to specification and dispatched on time.
- Ensure productivity targets are met and continuously challenge established standards
- A culture of continuous improvement towards world best practice is established.
- All standards and practices pertaining to ISO are achieved.

Specifically for this role, we expect you will have;
- At least 3-5 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity within a high volume warehousing / production environment
- A strong sense of self-drive and a continuous improvement mindset to improve the team’s performance, efficiency, and efficacy.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and environment management systems and audit principles
- OHS&E legislation and EEO legislation
- Relevant equipment and technology knowledge and proficient computer skills
- Good knowledge of planning techniques and supply chain principles
- Current driver’s license, forklift license and a safe driving record.
