Our client is leading provider of fast and hassle-free business loans within Australia & New Zealand, offering small business loans from $5,000 to $4,000,000, funded within 3 hours. **Duties**:

- Perform risk assessments for loan offers to SME’s
- Provide upto 5 valuations a day at a minimum
- To provide a valuation the team can rely on
- Provide analysis of loan offers and trend reporting on loan diversification and trends
- Lead process improvements in our Underwriting function
- Stay abreast of economic variables and changes to evaluate their impact on the underwriting and risk assessment function.
- Assessing and providing hardship support to clients from time to time

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- 3 years in a similar Risk/Credit/Valuation role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver under pressure
- Confidence in providing an opinion
- Speed in completing valuations (5 per day approx)
- Commercial, property, tangible asset, real estate, auction houses, automotive valuation experience desirable
- A genuine interest in solving problems and thinking outside of the box
- University degree in business, finance or similar
- Background in credit underwriting
- Able to structure loans that are sometime outside of the box and does meet the normal requirements
- Advanced Excel skills
- Clear, concise communication style
- Property-backed underwriting knowledge would be preferred
