**Myer** is looking for an **Insights Analyst** to deliver actionable data-driven insights to support the Merchandise team. This role involves analysing and interpreting data and transforming into summarised tables and visualisations required by the Insights Lead and Business Partner.

**About the role**:

- Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover trends and opportunities for the Merchandise team.
- Develop actionable insights tailored to merchandise-specific needs, such as category performance, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Assist the Insights Lead in preparing and delivering presentations and reports for key stakeholders
- Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports to provide regular updates on key metrics for the Merchandise team.
- Support the automation of reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accessibility.
- Conduct analysis of customer segmentation, purchasing patterns and market trends.
- Collaborate with the Insights Lead to extract and format the data required for TPC deep dive packs and supplier presentations.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data in all analyses and reporting.
- Identify and suggest enhancements to data analysis tools and processes

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Marketing, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an insights or analytics role preferably within retail or FMCG.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights that influence business outcomes.
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders to align analytics work with business needs
- Strong proficiency in data tools and technologies, including SQL and Excel.
- Ability to transform raw data into meaningful insight
- Proficiency (desirable) in tools like MicroStrategy, BigQuery, Google Analytics, and Marketing Research.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to present data in a meaningful way for non-technical audiences.
