**The Opportunity**
The Amplar Health Reporting and Analytics team plays a critical role in providing timely insights, reporting and analytics capabilities to support Medibank's 2030 vision and Amplar Health strategy.
The team works from problem / opportunity identification to reporting, analytics & insights delivery to enable informed management decision-making and to improve customer health/business outcomes across Amplar Health. Reporting to the Reporting & Analytics Lead and working closely with relationship managers, functional business managers, and other analysts within team, **your key responsibilities will include**:
- Design, build/enhance, and support insightful data visualisation, self-service analytics dashboards, and reports.
- Extract, merge, and analyse datasets from different data sources/data warehouse/data marts and facilitate single source of truth reporting.
- Collaboratively work with the Enterprise Data team to document new data requirements for reporting and service/customer insights and resolve data related issues.
- Proactively drive reporting process automation and optimisation, and rationalise redundant reports.
- Support data and analytics capability/technology uplift project or new health program implementation as required.
This is a permanent position available to work from home or at one of our offices or combination of both.
**About You**
You love working with data and be excited by the ability to support business decisions to improve health service delivery performance and customer outcome.
This role will suit someone with 1-3 years’ experience working as an analyst/consultant in data, reporting or business intelligence space with a high attention to detail.
Additionally, you also have:
- Expertise and hands-on experience in SQL programming; SAS (or Python); intermediate proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in creating insightful self-service dashboards and data visualisation in Tableau or similar BI/Analytics tools, including gathering business requirements
- Excellent capabilities to work with large/complex data sets and be able to extract, merging and preparing data from different data sources or data warehousing systems to provide actionable insights or automate reporting process.
- Experience working with enterprise database platforms such as AWS Redshift or SQL Server.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional data & technology teams to improve data quality/capability and provide new data requirements for reporting, analytics & insights delivery purposes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate insights to non-technical business stakeholders and manage competing priorities across internal teams.
