As part of the team, you'll work directly with the Portfolio Analytics Manager, driving critical decision-making across the organization and delivering impactful results. From identifying key opportunities to executing high-level analyses, your contributions will play a pivotal role in achieving Medibank's long-term strategic goals.

**What You'll Do**:

- **Enhance BAU Deliverables**: Improve and maintain key business-as-usual reporting and streamline processes (e.g., automation) to boost efficiency.
- **Create Data-Driven Solutions**: Use advanced analytical techniques to design tailored solutions that support business strategy, OKRs, and build a competitive edge.
- **Solve Commercial Problems**: Translate business questions into actionable analysis, delivering insights and recommendations that influence commercial outcomes.
- **Collaborate with Key Stakeholders**: Build trusted relationships with teams across the organization (e.g., finance, actuary), and influence decisions with your analytical expertise.
- **Dive into Data**: Get hands-on with large datasets, leveraging tools like SQL, SAS, and Tableau to extract meaningful insights.
- **Support Senior Leaders**: Assist the Portfolio Analytics Manager and senior S&A leaders in executing high-impact analytical initiatives.
- **Work Across Teams**: Collaborate with other analytics teams to drive enterprise-wide initiatives and insights.

**About You**:

- Degree qualified in a relevant field
- Strong experience with data analysis tools like SAS, SQL, Python, and/or R
- Familiar with data visualisation tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI
- Previous experience in private health insurance, healthcare, or insurance sectors is a plus
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and leverage data to drive business decisions
