We are seeking a dynamic and analytical **Supplier Insights Analyst **to join our team in a newly created role. Reporting to the Supplier Strategy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping supplier strategies, supporting negotiations, and driving revenue and cost improvements across our supplier base. You'll provide actionable insights to optimise supplier relationships and ensure alignment with business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Defining Supplier Strategy**:Develop and align supplier strategies with internal stakeholders, monitor industry trends, and refine strategies to drive business success.
- **Joint Business Planning**:Collaborate with key suppliers and internal teams to define, document, and track supplier strategies, ensuring mutual growth and success.
- **Cost Price Analysis**:Provide insights on supplier cost structures, guiding pricing negotiations to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- **Negotiation Support**:Prepare data-driven insights for negotiations, ensuring strategic alignment and proactive problem-solving.
- **Opportunity Identification**:Analyse the supplier base to identify and prioritize opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.

**About you:
We are looking for a skilled analyst with a strategic mindset and strong relationship-building skills including:

- **Bachelor’s degree **in Finance, Business, or Economics.
- **5+ years **of experience in Category Management, Business Consulting, Pricing, Finance, or a Commercial role in Retail, FMCG, or Wholesale. Pharmacy retail or wholesale experience a plus.
- Proven expertise in translating datasets into actionable insights and recommendations.
- **Proficiency in data modelling **with PowerBI, SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to optimize supplier relationships.
