APG Workforce are currently looking for a Project Coordinator for a 12-month contract Government Sector based in Parramatta.
**Start Date**:ASAP
**End Date: 12 Months** + possible extension
**Pay Rate**: $64.72 Per Hour + super
**Location**:Parramatta - The role is a hybrid working arrangements with office attendance at Parramatta
**Key accountabilities of the role**
Undertake tasks that contribute to the design, implementation and coordination of projects that deliver effective project outcomes and meet delivery team needs. Support the project with various administrative functions including status updates, briefing notes, reports, preparing and updating budgets, arranging meetings, drafting materials for strategic cross-agency internal meetings, and project planning. Collaborate with team members to undertake research and analysis to contribute to the development of key projects as needed.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within government. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision, typically reports to a manager.
**Key Challenges of the role**
- Working to tight timeframes with competing priorities and working.
- Developing and maintaining a broad understanding of government protocols, the organisation, its operations, as well as that of the other associated portfolio agencies and the interests of key stakeholders.
**Essential requirements**:
- May require a relevant degree
- 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
