**Manager Fuels and Strategic Inventory Management**
- The Manager of Fuels and Strategic Inventory Management is responsible for the overall management and assurance of supply to all Defence Fuel Installations (DFI’s) through close working relationships with Defence, UGL’s site based Operations teams and Defence’s Fuel Supplier Contractor. In addition this role will be responsible for the longer term strategic coordination of fuel storage, utilisation and value for money in support of long term forecast Defence operations.**Some key responsibilities will be**:
- Critical interface point between Defence, Defence’s Fuel Supply Contractor and UGL to ultimately assure the timely provision of fuel to the Defence Fuels Network
- Leading UGL’s Fuels Management Team and Fuel inventory management team in the delivery of our contracted Services.
- Ensure day to day fuel delivery obligations are met, demand and forecast is coordinated, and longer-term strategic fuel requirements and utilisation are strategised, documented, planned and coordinated.
- Contribute to the improvement in overall fuel utilisation, and network performance through implementation of Continuous Improvement and Efficiency strategies**On Your First Day we expect you to bring to the team**:
- 10+ years proven experience in fuel supply chain management, operations and fuel logistics in Australia or Asia-Pacific
- Proven leadership experience in Oil and Gas, including Refinery, Terminal operations and / or upstream operations
- Excellent knowledge of fuel supply and demand mass balance in Australia, including understanding of economic and strategic impacts in national and global supply markets
- Excellent understanding of fuel supply chain management including demand forecasting
