Operations and Maintenance Leadership Opportunity

A strategic partnership with the Department of Defence across the Defence Fuels Network for Fuels Management, Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance offers a unique opportunity to work in Australia's Defence environment and support national security requirements of the Nation.

The Operations and Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for the effective operation and maintenance of various assets and sites throughout NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate and manage a team of Supervisors and approximately Trades and Operators
  • Manage the delivery of Operations and Maintenance in line with business objectives
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely and effective delivery of the Asset Management plans
  • Take ownership of O&M performance and meaningfully contribute to annual business planning and progress reporting
  • Champion best practice Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Management, promote setting clear expectations

Based out of the project hub in North Sydney with regular travel required to sites; predominantly located near Sydney with some regional locations.

Extensive experience working in the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or similar industry with significant leadership and management experience is highly desired. Proven experience in the management and delivery of Operations or Maintenance is essential. Relevant trade within Fuel Operations is also highly regarded.
