This top tier law firm has a stand out Competition practice and a successful IP practice. Working with lawyers at various levels, you will help set the practice strategy, identify cross practice collaboration opportunities and coach fee earners to execute their business plans. You will be responsible for managing at least one key client of the firm. The practices require a mix of market positioning, BD coaching, client development, pitch strategy, event strategy and fee earner profiling. You will manage and mentor a high performing BD Adviser and collaborate with the wider sector and practice BD team. This is a firm with a strong focus on individual and team career development and you will be encouraged to work towards a promotion to Senior BD Manager. - BD Manager with line management experience (ideally)
- Experience gained in any professional services firm/industry
- Transactional practice BD experience is ideal
- Can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth or Brisbane
- Proven success in advising and coaching partners on BD strategy
- Collaborative - it’s about the team
