**Job Description**:
We have a great opportunity for a driven professional to join our team and provide legal and compliance advice to assess commercial risk in line with BD's Global standards and other applicable codes.

**Responsibilities**:
- Champion BD’s Global Standards on Interaction with HCPs, HCOs & GOs (“Global Standards”) and other applicable codes.- Provide day to day consultation on compliance to various business units.- Review and approve Global Standard transactions. Provide face to face training to all business units in ANZ on CoC and Global Standards.- Monitor the online E&C training completion for ANZ. Perform desktop and live monitoring of Global Standard transactions.- Prepare and present quarterly compliance metrics for ANZ during ANZ Leadership Meetings.- Lead and coordinate the new E&C Global Standards system implementation in ANZ.

You will also receive or coordinate the external review of sales agreements ensuring the following:
- BD is not exposed to undue risks and protected from a legal viewpoint.- Contracts are in line with BD standard terms and conditions.- Ensure that contracts are centrally filed and that appropriate next actions are taken by key dates as dictated by the contract. (Next action dates will in most instances be the contract renewal date.)- Provide general legal support as required.- May assist in internal investigations.

Knowledge and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications preferred At least 5 years of relevant work experience in legal, compliance or auditing environment.- Experience in contracts review and risk assessment. (Essential)- Excellent oral and written communication skills required. (Essential)- Demonstrated effective listening skills and interpersonal savvy, maintain effective working relationships with others. (Essential)- Problem solving ability and demonstrated examples of providing innovative solutions.- Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills- General ethics and compliance matters, familiarity with US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), MTAA and local anti-corruption laws.- Experience in healthcare industry is an added advantage.- Experience with working in a global and matrix organization.- Proven track record in stakeholder management, with ability to interact and integrate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization.- Experience in conducting face to face compliance trainings.- Experience in implementing a compliance system will be an added advantage.- Provide day to day consulting and advice to business on compliance matters.- Ability to work autonomously.
