**The Role**

Reporting to the Head of Submissions the **Bid Writer **will play an integral part in the Bid Management team supporting the wider BGIS business. Using a flexible and adaptable approach the responsibilities include:

- Managing and contributing to the writing process for both previously identified opportunities and renewals of existing accounts.
- Developing strong relationships with all key internal stakeholders, within the business, creating accurate content relevant to our bids.
- Reading and interpreting complex information from RFT’s and translating it into actionable response plans.
- Researching the customer drivers - what their drivers are, our business offerings and the alignment with our values.

**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated writing capability and creativity in marketing, journalism, media, or relevant business-related discipline.
- Experience working on tenders in the Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, and Infrastructure sectors (including PPPs)
- A strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellence
- An ability to work effectively in teams, and independently often virtually
- Strong research capability and a desire to learn
- Ability to manage and meet set timelines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage internal stakeholders

**Qualifications**
- Appropriate tertiary qualification is preferred (marketing, journalism or relevant business-related discipline)
- APMP Certification preferred.
