Government & Defence provides specialised logistics expertise, including relocation services. We work with clients at all levels of government to deliver an extremely diverse range of logistics solutions - from the distribution of healthcare products, managing the relocation of their employees, delivering fleets of government vehicles, through to helicopter rescue services.

**Job Description**:
Newly created opportunity for a **Bid Writer** to join our Growth and Solutions, Government & Defence team, where you play a key role in coordinating and producing bids and proposal response documentation including content development.

You will join a supportive and inclusive team, where we want you to collaborate and contribute to achieving great outcomes.

Based at 380 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne, we are flexible to other locations in Australia with options for flexible working arrangements.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Coordinate and produce bid or proposal response documents
- Support solution and bid activities
- Content development, production, and delivery of compliant, professionally produced proposals within defined timeframes
- Participate in proposal kick-off meetings, storyboard sessions, attending review meetings and final document reviews, print production and delivery of the completed proposal
- Develop graphics and/or work with designers as required, maintaining a comprehensive library of images

**Qualifications**:
**To ensure your success you will need to possess**:

- Strong written English language skills with a passion for writing
- Ability to review and edit high volumes of written material
- High level attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines
- Experience in MS suite of products, in particular Word
- Tertiary qualifications in professional writing, communication, journalism, or English
