**About the Role**

We are seeking a Bid Writer with some experience in the tendering space, strong writing skills and experience with editing proposal content.

You will create and submit innovative bids, tenders, proposals, and client presentations across Drake Australia. This is a 360 role; you will be accountable for not only writing the content but also coordinating the process, tender compliance requirements and stakeholders to ensure all deadlines are met.

Working under the Lead Bid Writer, you will have the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the development and submission of winning bids across the company.

Being involved across every element of the Drake International business, this role is highly stimulating and will offer you exposure across a range of work, constructive accountability, and autonomy that empowers you to succeed.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- 2 years' experience as a Bid Writer with a strong flair for written and verbal communication.
- Strong understanding of the bid process and tender compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to navigate multiple deadlines and with a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to maintain composure whilst working under pressure.
- Detail orientated and excellent time management skills.
- Stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Business, sales, and commercial acumen (highly desirable).
- End-to-end bid management/writing experience.
- Advanced understanding of the Office365 Suite.
- Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (desirable but not essential).
